Max goes to.........

PRESCHOOL!

He did shed a few tears- (Mommy bawled like a baby) but after the waterworks, he had a GREAT day. (first picture was Orientation, he HAD to wear his book bag- with his mini toys in the pocket)

Sept. 9th, 2010

(On the way to school Mark leans in and says "Well, now that all the kids are in school, it's about time to start adoption paperwork....right?" after I pick my jaw up off the floor I said "We will think about that for awhile." So who knows what the future holds.....)

First day of school

Oh happy day!
The kids were so excited this morning I was SURE their heads were going to pop off their tiny bodies.
They were happy to have hot cocoa and chocolate chip muffins for breakfast. Adelle was SUPER excited to wear her new Converse "Chucks" on her first day.
Ethan was just happy to see all of his friends. Max starts preschool in a couple weeks, and then I may lapse into a childless coma. They are getting so big!

Carnival

Saturday we went to School Carnival. We enjoyed watching the kids partake in pony rides, face painting, jumping on inflatables, dancing and hula-hooping. Afterwards, we took the kids to our new favorite place for some Italian ice. Fun family day!

Hallelujah!

Bet you were expecting an Easter post! Gotcha! I'm singing praise because today Adelle decided to MAKE HER OWN LUNCH for tomorrow. I complain all the time about packing lunches, so I guess she picked up on my hints. It's a small task really, but it is another thing on my long list at the end of the day. She offered, and I took her up on it. She looks really happy...we'll see how long it lasts. Little does she know it's NOT FUN.

Back to school!

Finally! After two weeks of being at home, Adelle and Ethan are back at school. Today they have so much to celebrate- Crazy Clothes day, delayed Valentines Day parties, and the 100th day of school. They could hardly wait! And to tell the truth, after all the complaining I did- the house is too quiet, and I kinda-sorta miss them. Love them!
