Dear Stroller,
We have had a great relationship. You have been there for me in times of need and distress. You have been strong enough to hold my purse, diaper bag, smallest child, and usually a jacket or two. Your straps have been a saving grace to hold down the kicking and screaming 2 yr old. You have had juice spilt on you, crackers crumbled into your fabric, and never said a word. You have traveled through many states, amusement parks, zoos, malls, State fairs, and MANY walks with us. Thanks for your unconditional support. It's been real, but the time has come to let you go.
Your grateful friend.
This will be the first stroller-free Spring, and I have to tell you- Mark and I are so excited to move into the phase where we can go biking! The kids are LOVING this time together. We took off Ethan's training wheels, and he needed no help at ALL! We are headed to Western MD rail trail tomorrow to go for a long family ride!
yay!!!! I can't part with my stroller just yet (my kids are lazy) BUT we LOVE bike riding!!! We have been cruising the neighborhood this spring and its been a blast! We are PUMPED to try that trail :) Maybe next week when Jason is home!! Have FUN!!! (Oh yeah, have you guys done the C&O yet? Its always fun and close. We usually get on n shepherdstown!
ReplyDeleteWe might try C&O next weekend- I keep hearing about it. Oh, Max is lazy too, but we just got a bike trailer for Mark to pull behind his bike, so that will do from now on. Max can ride too, but it takes FOREVER. Maybe we can all meet up and go for a ride together! =)
ReplyDeleteYou know Madison told us a few weeks ago look what I can do. She hopped on her bike and took off riding. Taught herself to ride. Little stinker. Guess it will be a few more years until I can bid farewell to my stroller.
ReplyDeleteHave fun riding bikes. I actually remember riding by you with Mackenzie and Madison in the back of the bike trailer in KC before you sent Mark over to introduce ya'll. You just kept shy waving at us. :) ILY girl!!!
